From a young age, Jessica was always told to hide her body shape by wearing dark, loose clothing and to cover up in order to look flattering. These comments created a constant struggle between wanting to dress well and the fear of receiving unwanted comments on her appearance.
As she grew up, Jessica realized that she didn’t need to listen to other people’s comments. She was comfortable and confident in her own skin and knew that her curves were beautiful.
She took her courage and started a blog on body positivity. She became a visionary for plus-size fashion, posting pictures and writing about what made her feel good. Her blog Tiny Red Shoes became a way to tell the world that she isn’t embarrassed, but proud of the way she looks.
Today, her blog represents women everywhere who believe that regardless of size, you can be beautiful and stylish.
