As we spend more time at home, it's natural for young people to spend more time online. While social media offers many positives, the prevalence of manipulated images and unrealistic beauty ideals makes it challenging to discern what's real. This is why we created Confident Me At Home – a series of mini lessons and confidence-building activities designed to help young people navigate social media and boost their self-esteem while learning from home.
Our Confident Me resources, used in schools worldwide, empower teachers and educators to deliver self-esteem lessons that foster positive body confidence and help young people realize their full potential.
We've now expanded this curriculum to include home learning resources through Confident Me At Home. Developed with young people in mind, each workbook features confidence-boosting mini lessons that children can complete with the support of a parent, guardian, or mentor. These resources are ideal for 11-14 year olds, and also suitable for high school and upper elementary students with adult guidance.
Our self-esteem lessons cover crucial topics like social media, body image, unrealistic ideals, image manipulation, and comparison culture. Each lesson is developed with body image experts and academics to ensure maximum educational impact. Our workbooks are free to download, making them perfect for collaborative home learning.
Together, we can integrate self-esteem and emotional wellbeing into the home learning experience, helping young people feel confident being themselves, whether at home, school, or in any aspect of life.
