Tips for dandruff free hair
We all know that dandruff can be embarrassing, but it is also common as it affects nearly half the world’s population at some point.
Dandruffs is usually caused by excess oil on your scalp that helps the skin cells to renew at an especially fast rate by producing those unsightly flakes. But don’t worry, below are some dandruff control ideas to make your hair a flake-free zone:
Wash hair every day.
The first thing to do when thinking of how to remove dandruff is to wash your hair every day with an anti-dandruff shampoo. We would normally say this is a bad idea, but it will help clear away those oils regarding which we have mentioned and those pesky flakes.
Lather, rinse and repeat.
If there’s ever a time to follow this, it’s now! The first wash will get rid of the dirt build-up on your scalp and the second will clear it away.
Do not scratch. Just don’t.
If your scalp feels itchy, try to avoid it as much as you can and divert your mind somewhere else.
Jump in the shower.
If you're a gym queen, make sure you shower ASAP when you’re done as sweat makes the condition of the scalp worse.
Avoid too much styling.
Try not to use hairspray, gels or mousse when you style hair as they add to the dirt build up. Shiny and soft hair is the best look to go for. Applying few drops of hair oil into different sections of dry hair will keep it glossy and sleek.
