Dove sustainability commitments

For years, Dove has been on a mission to detoxify beauty — we’ve been tackling systemic issues, and we’ve set new standards for the beauty industry. Now, we are committed to building on the sustainable actions we’ve taken so far. As part of our wider sustainability targets, we’re implementing a series of new initiatives for cutting carbon emissions, reducing waste and protecting nature.

Why nature and biodiversity are important

At Dove, we want to contribute to a future where there is more nature tomorrow than there is today – so generations to come can enjoy its beauty. Because nature is not just an environmental issue – we all depend on its biodiversity and it impacts people's lives and livelihoods, so we must safeguard a planet where it thrives. For us, this is more than just reducing our supply chain's impact on nature. It also means investing beyond our own business operations to support and nurture partnerships that are protecting and restoring nature, helping to regenerate critical ecosystems for the future.

Because when we care for the planet, we are also caring for each other. 

We’re proud of our actions so far, but we know we have a lot more to do. We believe in a world where nature thrives and enables a safe and beautiful future for us all. Because it’s not real beauty if it costs us our earth.
