Paternity leave today
Through our report, we found that less than half of countries offer any form of legally protected, paid paternity leave. For the other nations, the responsibility lies with employers – many of whom may not be able to offer financial support for new fathers. Our research shows that over 40% of parents agree: financial barriers stop them from taking paternity leave – and that’s something we want to help change.
