The Dove Self-Esteem Project continues its mission by innovating in the virtual world with Super U Story on Roblox. This free, educational game provides a safe and empowering space for young girls to build self-esteem and body confidence. By challenging unrealistic beauty standards in gaming, Dove aims to transform the industry and foster a positive environment where girls can thrive.
 

We're extending our Dove Self-Esteem Project mission into the virtual world with a pioneering Roblox game. It's specially created to challenge unrealistic beauty ideals and build self-esteem in young women.

Today, 1.3 billion women and girls play video games globally. Gaming offers a unique way to explore connections, build communities, and express your true self, with 60% of girls starting before age 10.

However, the industry lacks adequate representation of girls and women in gaming. New Dove research, co-published with NGO Women in Games and the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR), reveals that gaming often reflects narrow, unrealistic beauty standards. This lack of diverse female representation negatively impacts girls' self-esteem.

As the largest provider of self-esteem education in the world, we've been committed to empowering girls since 2004. We've now created a pioneering, educational Roblox game to help girls (aged 9-16) combat negative self-esteem and build body confidence.

Entirely free and available to play now, the Super U Story experience brings the Dove Self-Esteem Project's mission into modern gaming. Developed by female-founded, Roblox-led gaming studio Toya and validated by experts from the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR).

Join The Academy

Super U Story features 'The Academy', a school for kids with superpowers under siege by rogue students spreading negativity. Your mission is to help players discover their unique superpower of flight, fire, water, or speed, to dodge and destroy poisonous negativity and save The Academy.

Players can customise their avatars for a more realistic beauty experience, team up with friends to explore The Academy, earn power-ups, and complete quests.
