And now our products are entitled to carry PETA’s cruelty-free logo from PETA, something we are phasing in across all our packs progressively from next year. Our parent company, Unilever, has announced that it supports calls for a global ban on animal testing, similar to the existing EU ban.
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is the biggest animal rights organisation in the world, with more than 6.5 million members and supporters. Since 1980, PETA has campaigned against animal abuse and exploitation, influencing organisations and lawmakers to stop using animals whenever and wherever possible. Its Beauty Without Bunnies cruelty-free certification is the gold standard for consumers to rely on when making compassionate purchases.
Companies that are included on PETA’s list of companies that don’t test on animals manufacture cruelty-free cosmetics and personal care products, and when you see PETA’s cruelty-free logo on a product, it’s a sign that you can trust that product you’ve chosen was produced without tests on animals.
